• §1 Players and Accounts
Each player may only own and play one account per server.
    • §1.1 Password Sharing
The owner of an account may not transfer the password of an account to any person playing on the same game world. Additionally, choosing the same password on the same game world as another person is illegal; and is considered multi accounting, as defined in these rules.

However, it is permissible to transfer the password of an account to a person or persons playing on different game worlds (or not playing at all) in order to play a single account together.

There is no compensation for damages done by someone knowing the password for an account. The Travian Team reserves the right to deny service features and/or charge the account in question for illegal password sharing. Furthermore, an account that uses an insecure password that can be easily obtained or guessed does not qualify for compensation in case of damage to the account.

The person receiving the password is subject to the rules of Travian as well as the General Terms and Conditions.
    • §1.2 Account Transfers
In order to transfer an account to a new owner, the current owner must change the registered email address (via the in-game email change function) to that of the new owner.
    • §1.3 Sitting
Every player has a right to name two sitters who may administer the account during an owner's absence. Sitters must play the account they are sitting to the account’s full benefit.

Permanently sitting an account for a player that is absent for more than 2 weeks is not allowed. Foreseeable periods of absence longer than two weeks must be reported to a Multihunter before the departure of the owner.

There is no compensation for damages done by a sitter. Owners of an account are fully responsible for the actions of any sitters for their account. In the event that sitters of an account do not follow these rules and the General Terms and Conditions of Travian, both the account owner and the sitter may be punished.

The sitter of an account must sit the account using the account sitting function in game. The sitter of an account may not tend to an account by logging on with the password of the account they are sitting §1.1.

A conversational tone should be maintained at all times.
    1. Insults, real-life threats, vulgar/foul language, personal attacks, political statements, and spamming are all against the rules. In-game names, village names, and player and alliance profiles fall under the same rules. Questionable or vulgar drawings, especially due to excessively large profiles, are also against the rules.

Possible punishments are: reduction of resource field and building levels, deletion of villages, partial or complete emptying of warehouses, partial or complete deletion of troops, removal from or of an alliance, and deletion of the account.
    • §7.1 Replacements
Resources, buildings, villages, or troops lost during the time of suspension will not be replaced under any circumstances.
    • §7.2 Plus
      1. The player has no right to compensation or replacement of time lost on a Travian Plus account while suspended.

It is against the rules to attempt to gain access to another's account. Violations can lead to permanent banning from the game. The Travian Team will never ask you for your password!

Inciting, manipulating, encouraging, assisting or conspiring with others to violate any of the Travian Rules is impermissible.
  • §10 Deletions

  • §11 Official Language
English is the official language of the Travian.US Servers. All players must use English when communicating with other players. Any player who cannot or will not speak in English when communicating with other players will be banned.
  • §12 Rule Changes
The Travian Team reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
  • §13 Corrections In Rules
If individual enforcement of these rules prove to be ineffective, that does not diminish their validity. The administrators are committed to replacing ineffective regulations with those which can be better enforced. These new rules will be used without delay and in any pending case. This also applies to implicit but unstated gaps in current rules which are meant to be viewed in the spirit of the explicitly stated rules.
